Just got back from Cambridge after probably one of the most challenging and fun games of Dux Britanniarum I've had in a while. compounded by the fact that I got to play the British for the first time. I am somewhat knackered and my brain hurts, so I'm sorry, but you're going to have to wait for the battle report until I can do it justice. Many thanks to Tim for hosting and umpiring, his wife for an excellent meal, and Phil (who played the Saxons) for being a worthy adversary.
To tide you over till then, I just spotted (thanks to an email from Sky) that the History Channel are showing 'World War 2 from Space' next week. It looks interesting, if nothing else because I'm an unrepentant 'cool graphics' geek, so I'm going to hold off from watching the version that's available on YouTube in favour of a decent off-air HD recording. Being the History Channel, it's going to range somewhere from 'fascinating' to 'that's 90 mins of my life I won't get back', I suspect, though.
In other news, I think I've now repaired the marsh back to the point where it's not going to leak when i pour the scenic water in, and you can't see the places where I had to lift and re-affix the DAS clay surround. Fingers crossed for Monday, when the PVA etc has dried and I can move on to the next step.
WAB, WECW, Dux Britanniarum, IABSM3 and many other wargames rules, mostly in 28 and 15mm.

Great to see you again yesterday. Glad you enjoyed the game. Hopefully I can get another one organised before too long.
