Napoleon at War announcement
A very interesting post on the ManAtWar at site this morning. I'm not quite sure what I make of it yet and it's certainly too late at night for me to think about it too hard, so I'll probably comment thoroughly tomorrow. For now? have a read.

Sounds like a typical political solution, if one War is not going well, start another somewhere else!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I thought something like this might be on the cards. I get the idea, in that the ACW will appeal to the US market in particular, but as a Napoleonic player and someone who really liked the concept behind the rules, all be it without the silly FOW competition list building element, it is a shame that the whole project wasn't better managed from the start.
ReplyDeleteI was not really convinced with the figure range, being overly large so as not to be compatible with other large 15mm/18mm, but the clever ideas behind the rules and pitching at the divisional level game was a great way of bringing new players into Napoleonics.
I will watch with interest, but forgive me if I have doubts.
