Sherman vs Panther vs Pershing - 6th March 1945

I suspect quite a few of my readers have seen this bit of WW2 footage. It's worth watching again though, especially when accompanied by Dierk's page on it which includes maps and other related content.

  1. I hadn't seen that before... gosh!

What I did notice was the U.S. MG gunner with his browning on an improvised sling (about 1.30 or so), belt in and ready to rock and roll, and the mix of uniforms in the same unit, some in M1943 jackets and boots, with the rest in the older shorter type of jacket, shoes and spats... very interesting, so thanks for that.
