The Miller's Tale - Episode 4

Episode 4: In which Mike reviews Too Fat Lardies' "I Ain't Been Shot Mum"...

No, I know I'm not the first. See, the plan is, to review things not when they're brand new, but when I've had time to beat them into submission and figure out what I really like and don't...

If there's anything I missed, please let me know. I'm keen for any feedback, obviously enough - you can comment here, or if you'd rather it wasn't public, by email to podcast@the-mill-house.org.uk.

Look out for the next episode in late November/early December.

  1. I'll say this, you've definitely got a better theme tune than your former colleagues at M&M! A very useful listen, thanks!

  2. Heh - I dunno, I've always had a soft spot for the MandM tune.

Mine is some Apple Garageband loops and a lot of fairly careful editing :D

  3. I very much enjoyed listening to this episode Mike. I wonder whether you might consider doing something similar for Dux Britanniarum in the future. Our group plays Sharp Practice and will probably be starting Dux Brit in the new year. I'd be interested to hear your take on similarities and differences between the two systems.

  5. Mike this is a fresh approach to reviewing a product that is far from new but still played and enjoyed by experienced gamers and new players. Thank you and I hope others will emulate your idea for reviews
