Rigging

Anyone recommend a good reference for the standing rigging on Napoleonic ships?

No, I'm not planning on doing it. I'm married to a veterinary surgeon, who is much better at micro-sutures than I am. ;)

    I am not sure what scale you are shooting for but Rod Langton's site is hard to beat. http://www.rodlangton.com/napoleonic/booklet.htm

    Those are sources I have used.

    For books some older ones that I have are: Plank-on-Frame modesl and Scale Masting & Rigging. Vol I and Vol II by Harold R Underhill. The rigging information is in Vol II.
    The other one is Ship Modeling Simplified: Tips and Techniques for Model Construction From Kits by Frank Mastini
