It was good that I had my internal hard disk splitted into two drives and therefore I had only to reformat the one with the OS files but the rest of the information was safely stored. Having said that, I also keep a back up copy in an external drive. I can only agree 100% with you Mike and encourage everybody around to take action NOW.
